Whats for Dinner?

Hatteras Connection Seafood Fundraiser
Hatteras Village Civic Center. 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. The dinner will include baked or grilled fish, seafood chowder, roasted potatoes, cole slaw, corn bread, iced tea and dessert. Tickets cost $10 and the donation of one non-perishable food item. Island commercial fishermen and charter-boat captains and mates are donating the fish, and a great team of local folks, known for their skills in the kitchen, will be the chefs. Outer Banks Festival of Trees

All 2009 Festival of Trees events will be held in The Pearl Restaurant, located inside the Sea Ranch Hotel in Kill Devil Hills.

Donations of canned goods, household supplies and pet food for area food pantries and shelters will be accepted all day Thursday and Friday and until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
