Catch of the Day

Since 1939 locals and tourists alike spent their days trying to catch game off of Jennette’s Pier. When the pier opened back in 1939 it was the only fishing pier in the Outer Banks. Now the Outer Banks is home to 7 fishing piers (Jennette’s included). The pier was hit hard by Hurricane Isabel in 2003 and was in desperate need of reconstruction. Jennette's is now the newest and largest on the Outer Banks having a 1,000 foot long fishing pier and a 16,000 square foot pier house. Go enjoy the newest addition to the Outer Banks!
